What's the difference between an Alchemist and a regular baker, you might ask?
Nothing, I'm just a fantasy fanatic who got the idea while rereading my favorite book series (Tomes & Tea by Rebecca Thorne, you should definitely check it out) for the thousandth time. After all, alchemy and baking are essentially the same thing, right?
Anyways, I've been baking since I was in middle school, almost went to trade school for it, and inevitably caused my father a great deal of sadness when I decided I wanted to go to film school instead (you can see how far that got me). Well... several years later, and he's finally getting to live his dream of getting to be my official taste tester.

Hi, I’m Sheri — a lifelong baker, cancer survivor, and lover of all things cozy and homemade.
I’ve been baking since I was a teenager, perfecting some of my family’s favorite recipes over the years. What started as a way to bring joy (and a little sweetness) to my family has grown into something even bigger. After going through cancer treatments, I realized how important it is to follow my passions (I have several) to do what truly lights me up.
So when my daughter said, “Mom, you should open a home bakery,” I knew she was right. So here I am, sharing our family favorites — made with love, a whole lot of butter, and a grateful heart — for you, too.
